VMware Remote Console (Virtual Machine Remote Console) is the keyboard graphical connection to a Virtual machine equivalent to an out-of-band connection because it is possible to see all amd manage all states of the VM, including error states such as purple screens and BIOS. The VMRC is produced by the hypervisor (an ESXi Host, Workstation Pro, etc.) and delivered directly to the client application.
